COURSE DETAILS -MPM

Total 33 credits

AIT MPM COURSE DETAILS:

Semester 01

  • organization management in construction (3credits)
  • project planning and scheduling (3credits)
  • Project financial and cost management (3credits)
  • communication and negotiation in construction (3credits)

(A Field Trip to AIT, Thailand, In a Construction Site, for 7 Days)

Semester 02

  • legal and contractual risk management (3credits)
  • occupational safety and health in construction(3credits)
  • project financing (3credits)
  • applied project management in housing and real estate (1 credit)
  • applied project management in commercial project (1 credit)
  • applied project management in high-rise building (1 credit)
  • applied project management in public infrastructure (1 credit)
  • applied construction business and project simulation (1 credit)

(Special note: student choose 3 applied project management courses)

Semester 03

  • quality management in construction(3 credit)
  • case study  (6 credits)

(Graduation Ceremony to AIT, Thailand, after the last semester done in Bangladesh)

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Hold a Bachelor degree (normally from a four-year program), or its equivalent, in an appropriate field of study from an institution of good standing

 

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS
AIT-EET or IELTS-Academic: 5 or equivalent or TOEFL Paper: 500 or TOEFL CBT: 173 TOEFL IBT: 60

Have at least 3 years of work experience in areas related to the academic program at AIT and

Be executives in organizations/companies.

Be in satisfactory physical and mental health, and have a record of good conduct;

PAYMENT PROCEDURES:

Register for the AIT MPM by Paying Registration Fee $ 500;

  • 50% of the First Semester Tuition Fee must be paid at receiving of offer letter from AIT; Remaining, 50% of the First Semester Tuition Fee must be paid before mid-exam week.
  • Second Semester Tuition Fees: 50% of the Tuition Fee must be paid during the first week of First Semester, and remaining 50% must be paid before mid-exam week.
  • Third Semester Tuition Fees: 50% of the Tuition Fee must be paid during the first week of First Semester, and remaining 50% which is must be paid before mid-exam week.
  • Field Trip and Graduation Ceremony Costs are borne by the respective student.
AIT MPM BD FACULTITIES

FACULTY

Faculties are from Construction Engineering and Infrastructure Management (CEIM) program – AIT and professional experts from industry. CEIM is highly experienced in project management education, from short training programs to master programs, doctoral programs and post-doctoral programs. So far, there are more than 300 masters and 12 doctors graduated in Project Management program and more than 500 trainees from short training programs received certificates offered by CEIM. CEIM also have its strong partnership with government’s construction organizations and industrial zones in providing consultancy services and professional researches to enhance the quality of construction projects.
